Both service and philanthropy are important to the brothers of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity. The value our organization places on service and philanthropy is evident in the fact that it is referenced in our Mission, Credo and Ritual. They are integral aspects of what it means to be a true ZBT and to represent the values of the fraternity both within our own organization and within our own communities.
Children's Miracle Network
Children's Miracle Network Hospitals was named the official adopted philanthropy of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity in 2002. Every year brothers of the Delta Iota Chapter partake in raising as much money as possible for the kids. We are able to raise over $30,000 every year for the kids and get the chance to meet our wonderful miracle children.
One of our newest and most anticipated events is our annual ZBT Island Ball volleyball tournament. This tournament allows UCF sororities to compete against each other head to head in order to win the Island Ball Trophy. All proceeds from this event go directly to Children's Miracle Network.
Get On the Ball
Get on the Ball is a fun and creative way the brothers of Zeta Beta Tau raise money for Children's Miracle Network. In it's simplest form, GOTB (Get on the Ball), is the process of rolling an inflatable 6-foot wide ball around campus to collect signatures for Children's Miracle Network. Students from all across campus donate money in order to sign the ball. All proceeds go directly to Children's Miracle Network.
Gift of Life
Gift of Life Marrow Registry was adopted as a philanthropic partner in 2017 to further the fraternity's charitable efforts as part of our Mission and help the ZBT brothers have a stronger impact on more lives. The Gift of Life is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives and facilitating bone marrow and blood stem-cell transplants for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, and other blood-related diseases.
